Cappadocia first opened its doors in 2001 as a small restaurant in the heart of Kingston. After establishing ourselves as the go-to Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant in the area, we launched our second branch in 2014 and in November of 2021, expanded further with a third restaurant right on Epsom High Street. Since day one, we have devoted ourselves to creating an authentic and unique Turkish experience for our customers.
Our owners, executive chef and many of the staff hail from Turkey and were all raised on delicious, traditional cuisine. We are proud to bring a taste of our heritage to our customers, creating a little corner of Turkey right here in the UK. Our chefs are passionate about good quality ingredients, perfectly seasoned and expertly prepared, and have been trained to the highest standards as they would in Istanbul.
Our interiors were designed with authentic Turkish décor in mind, offering our customers an insight into our history. All our food is served in traditional cookware such as clay pots.
In 2016, Cappadocia was the proud winner of the ‘Best Kebab Restaurant in South and East London’ award at the British Kebab Awards, scooping up the same award two years later in 2018. In 2023, we were shortlisted for the ‘Edible Epsom Award’ at the Time and Leisure Food and Culture Awards.
